Spiritual development (growth) in the life of the believer is essential, not optional.
Jesus' command was to make disciples not simply converts. Ultimately, spiritual development
is gauged by our increased capacity to love God and to love people. We have several mechanisms
designed to help you know what spiritual development looks like.
The heart of spiritual development at YC is our small groups. It is in these small
groups that we dive deep into God's Word and apply it to our everyday lives. To locate
a small group, use our small group finder. YC 201 also exists to
help the believer get on the road to spiritual development. This is also our membership
class. New Community is our mid-week service designed with the goal to get believers plugged
