Serving God's Kingdom

Serving in ministry is not reserved for pastors and church staff only. It is about a
passion, not a seminary degree. We are all called to ministry in one form or another.
God created each one of us to serve the body of Christ. Consider the following verses:

“For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared
in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
|
|
|
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus… taking the very nature of a
servant…” Philippians 2:5,7
|
|
|
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others…”
1 Peter 4:10
|
|
|
As 1 Peter 4:10 points out, we should be serving in an area of giftedness. Each one of us
has a unique set of gifts, abilities, passions, and experiences. We all have different
personalities suited for different types of service. The goal of YC 301 is to help identify
