Sharing the Good News isn't always easy or comfortable, but it's the commission given us by Jesus.
On five separate occasions following the resurrection, Jesus gave the disciples parts of the Great
Commission over the course of his 40 days prior to his ascension.
When put together, the Great Commission is understood as Jesus sending us (John 20:21)
to go to all the world and preach to every person (Mark 16:15), discipling, baptizing, and
teaching them (Matthew 28:19-20) about repentance and forgiveness of sins based on the death,
burial and resurrection of Christ (Luke 24:46-48). We are to do this in our Jerusalem and to
the uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 1:8).
